In this article even before you book your tickets, I will take you through the top 6 places of the country that you won’t like to miss.

Agra

Everyone knows for a significant amount of time the country of India was ruled by the Mughals. In the city of Agra, you can have a brief glimpse of what the architecture looked like back then.

Since we are talking about architecture we can’t miss the Taj Mahal, which is even synonymous with the name of the city itself. The white marble tomb structure which is part of the new wonders of the world was built by emperor Akbar to honor his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Along with the Taj Mahal, You can also view the two world heritage sites Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

Goa

Whenever the word PARTY swims across mind the first place which comes across party lovers mind is Goa! Isn’t it so? The state of Goa is home to some of the beautiful beaches nature has bestowed us with beaches like Calangute Beach, Candolim Beach, and Baga beach to name a few.

You can also visit the peaceful churches of Goa like Basilica of Bom Jesus, Convent of St. Francis of Assisi, and Se Cathedral.

If the serenity of the place doesn’t get you high, You will easily find bars and live party events going on in the suburbs.

Manali

Manali is a town located in the lap of Himachal Pradesh, India. The small town has a bit of everything, a wide variety of flora and wildlife, beautiful waterfalls and pleasant weather and comes in second place on our list.

Zorbing, Skiing, Rafting, Paragliding, and Rock climbing are some of the adventure sports that you can easily get your hands on in the town. 

Mumbai

The city is home to the well-famed Bollywood but has more to it to when it comes to satisfying your wanderlust.

You can visit the Gateway of India, a landmark architecture standing tall since 1924. Temple of Mumba Devi and the Dargah of Haji Ali should be your go-to places if spiritualism is what you are seeking for. 

In the evening you can visit the Juhu beach and Marine drive and soothe your senses by the beauty of nature. Don’t miss the Elephanta Caves home to the great history of ancient carvings.

Don’t worry if you just want to lie peacefully in a resort the city is home to some of the finest 5-star hotels in the country.

Jaipur

How can we miss the Pink city, yeah you got me right I am talking about Jaipur, the city is home to great forts and is a beautiful gem on the scarf of Indian history.

Jungle safari, hot balloon adventure, zip-lining are some of the fun activities waiting for you in the womb of the city. Jaigarh fort, Amber Palace, and Nahargarh Fort are the places for you if you want to walk through, how Rajputana kingdom looked like!

Meghalaya

Do you know what does Meghalaya means? The word, Meghalaya is a Sanskrit word and means, “The abode of clouds.” The ambiance of the state is so serene that during the colonial rule, Britishers used to call Meghalaya as “Scotland of the East.”

Not many know till Jan20, 1972 the state of Meghalaya was part of Assam. On your trip to Meghalaya don’t forget to visit Cherrapunji, Balpakram National Park, Elephant Falls, Double-decker Living Root Bridge, Don Bosco Museum, Kyllang Rock, Mawlynnong Village, Baghmara, and Nohkalikai Falls.

4. Climb the Rockies

Need another shot of adrenaline? I have just got what you will need (No I don’t supply drugs…HAHA). You can go through the Canadian Rockies, a mountain range spanning from British Columbia and Alberta.

You can also enjoy the mesmerizing turquoise lakes and a wide variety of flora and fauna spread over while going through the Canadian Rockies, spreading over a trail of 1,600 km.

Banff National Park is just the place for you if you love to rock climb. The national park is a part of the Canadian Rockies and not far away from Calgary.

5. Skiing

During your trip, you can go skiing in the country. To assist you in your ambitions country boasts a number of world-class ski resorts. One of the most favored and go-to skiing clubs in the country is Whistlers.

The skiing resort is located just two hours away from Vancouver. Along with an apt environment for skiing the area’s dining and nightlife just makes the place a traveler’s delight.

The United States or should I call it the land of opportunity. Since the country is home to so many diverse cities and attractions it’s often difficult for travelers to chose their USA trip destinations.

But in the century where we are always running out of time and resources, visiting these 6 places can be a good adventure. So before you even start to drop these places in your bucket list, let me take you through a quick detour of these places.

1. New York

New York City which is also known as the Big Apple is generally the go-to city of every USA trip. The city is home to iconic architectures like the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Times Square.

Along with the above-mentioned iconic places you can also go on a leisurely walk on the High Line, an old-railroad-track-turned-park that features greenery, artwork, and beautiful skyline views.

To see the latest plays and musicals you can move towards Broadway and the Theater District. Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Frick Collection can be your go-to places if you are an art lover.

2 . Los Angeles 

Did you know the full name of Los Angeles is “El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de Los Ángeles del Río de Porciúncula”? Hollywood and its celebrities are what keeps Los Angeles as the all-time favorite tourist destination for any USA Trip!

3. Chicago 

The city of Chicago is one of the most go-to tourist destinations in every USA Trip. Chicago is just second to New York City in both size and population.

4. Washington

Washington which is also the capital of the United States boasts miles of museums and monuments almost all of which are free to visit. (Yipeeeeee!)

You can point it as one of the reasons why it is one of the most visited cities in the country. The place is said to be a perfect place to learn about U.S. history at places like George Washington’s plantation, Ford’s Theater(the place where Abraham Lincoln was shot).

You can also visit the White House, the National Museum of African-American History and Culture, and the National Museum of the American Indian. You can also probably overdose on museums if you add the United States Holocaust Museum, the Newseum, the National Air and Space Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, the Hirshhorn Museum, and the National Gallery of ArtCapitol; Georgetown and many more. 

After a stay of 7 days and more in Washington, You will get a doctorate in history, You know I am joking, right?

5. Las Vegas

The Entertainment Capital of the World is what Las Vegas is widely known as. The city is well renowned for its nightlife. Along with its nightlife, the city boasts blockbuster shows, world-class shopping, and top-notch restaurants, all of which make this city a top travel destination in every USA trip!

During your stay in the city, you can take a tour of the MGM Grand and can even try your luck at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino(although not advisable).

Don’t forget to walk through the Neon Museum, which showcases iconic Las Vegas signs. As for the last notes don’t forget what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

6. Orlando

The City Of Beautiful! Orlando is a city-based in Florida. Orlando is home to 285,713 people approx. and is the 71st largest city in the U.S.A. You can judge the popularity of this city by the fact that the Orlando International Airport is the 29th-busiest airport in the world and the thirteenth-busiest airport in the United States.

While in the city you can’t really miss visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, Magic Kingdom Park, Discovery Cove, Lake Eola Park, and the Wheel at ICON Park.

Vanuatu

If you hold an Indian passport and are not planning your stay for more than 30 days, You don’t need a Visa to visit Vanuatu. But there are some requirements that you need to keep in mind!

Requirements:

  • A Passport with an existing validity of at least 6 months.
  • Return Tickets in advance.
  • Proof indicating that you have ample funds for the stay.
  • Necessary travel or government documents.

The country is an independent island nation and is located in the South Pacific ocean. Vanuatu consists of an assembly of approximately 80 islands covering an area of 1,300 kilometers.

The country’s official name is the Republic of Vanuatu and is home to many active volcanoes. During your stay in the country, you can hike through the country’s forests and dive into the marine life of the island.

El Salvador

The Republic of El Salvador or El Salvador is yet another country worth mentioning when it comes to easy visa guidelines.

The country boasts a tropical climate and continues to attract tourists from around the globe with its nightlife and beaches.

The beaches are a surfer’s delight. Salvadoran culture has largely been Americanized and you can guess the idea of the same from American-style malls, stores, and restaurants around the country.

Macau

Although Macau is not a country I can’t miss putting this city on the list. The city is located on the south coast of China. Macau which was once colonized by the Portuguese now is a Chinese special administrative region.

If gambling is what you are looking for You need to understand that there is a reason Macau is called, Las Vegas of Asia. Not many know that Macau is also known as the gambling capital of the world. Don’t be astonished when I tell you that gambling contributes 50% to Macau’s economy.

The city of Macau resembles much to it’s neighboring city Hong-Kong and is one of the most traveled cities in the world. You don’t need a Visa, If you aren’t planning to stay more than 14 days in Las Vegas of Asia.

Jamaica

Jamaica packs everything that a nature lover can desire rainforests, reef-lined beaches, lush topography of mountains. If Jamaica is what your next trip looks like!

The National Gallery of Jamaica, Nanny Falls, Blue Mountain Park, Greenwood Great House, and Reach Falls are some places that you can’t really afford to miss.

Feel free to move on the beats of Bob Marley as you don’t need a Visa for a stay up to 30 days.

Micronesia

Doesn’t Micronesia sound like a strange name?  Micronesia is located in the Western Pacific ocean and is a remote country with its natural beauty intact.

The country compromises more than 600 islands and is made up of 4 island states namely Pohnpei, Kosrae, Chuuk, and Yap. 

What compliments Micronesia’s enchanting beauty is the country’s No-Visa policy for a stay up to 30 days! In this visa stricken world, Can you really miss visiting this place?

Requirements:

  • Booking Details of your stay.
  • Valid Passport and Valid documents issued by the government up to 120 days or above.
  • Proof indicating that you have ample funds for the stay.
  • Arrival and Departure tickets.

Bhutan

Bhutan is a neighboring country that doesn’t shy away when it comes to Tourism. The country has a beautiful landscape combined with a wide variety of flora and fauna.

You can travel to Bhutan only through their national airline Druk Air or by road.

Bhutan is well aware of its environment and its unique culture and only allows a limited number of individuals as tourists at a time.   

Where the country has a No-Visa policy for Indian nationals, Bhutan charges 250 U.S dollars per day from tourists to cover the impact of tourism on its environment. Earlier Indian nationals didn’t need to pay any such fees but now it’s INR 1,200 per day.

Condition:

A seven-day entry-cum-stay permit from the border offices.

Requirements:

  • Indian Passport with a validity of 6-months.
  • 2 passport-size photographs
  • Voter ID.
  • Booking details of your stay
  • Marriage certificate copy for couples.
